Sometime around 1987, I attended a DragonCon in Atlanta. During the convention, lots of envelopes were being handed out that gave you a free start-up for a game called "It's a Crime". I was instantly fascinated. A computer moderated game that was played through the mail? I was hooked. I took a handful of the envelopes back to my dorm at the University of Alabama and several of us played the game. Unfortunately, most of us were poor college students, so we didn't get to play for long. Still, this game was my introduction into this amazingly fun world, and let me on to even better games.
